Friends and family, we encourage you to download the App In-Drive. A ride-hailing app aka the Uber of North Africa. It is a convenient way to make sure you receive hassle-free, transparent pricing. The app also features safety tools like driver vetting and ride-sharing. We highly recommend using this app if/when taxis are unavailable.

Taxis can be found at all airports, hotels, and popular corners and are cash only. Blue taxis are usually for shorter rides in the city, and use a meter system. Yellow or biege taxis are for longer distances, ie to and from the airport and the ride price is negotiated before the trip starts. A trip from the Tangier airport to Marshan is approx 120–180 MAD ($12–$18 USD) If they quote you 250 MAD, it’s still within normal airport pricing.
